$37.32 Minimum Starting Base Pay* + KPI Bonuses + Competitive Benefits

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the direction and supervision of the Regional Warehouse. Responsible for the day to day activities of the warehouse transactions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and manage Service Order contracts
  • Direct the maintenance and upkeep of the grounds at the Regional Operations Center
  • Work with the Safety Department and employees as the Regional RESAP Coordinator
  • Document actions taken within RESAP Action Plans to meet requirements and ensure credential adherence
  • Ensure Capital Improvement Projects meet the required timelines
  • Report status of required materials for Capital Improvement Projects to project lead and ensure that the project team can adjust timelines
  • Serve as the Emergency Operation Plan designee for Supply Chain Management
  • Manage the issuing and receiving inventory control process
  • Issue materials to projects and jobs
  • Ensure the accuracy of job orders
  • Manage the facilities management process for the Regional Operations Center
  • Provide expertise and innovation in materials, yard and supply chain efficiency
  • Serve as contact with vendors, contractors and employees for supplies, materials and uniforms
  • Serve as the Regional Operations Center liaison and committee member for Cooperative supply chain initiatives

  • Assist in the administration of contracts for supply chain related initiatives
  • Manage inventory, cleanliness, maintenance of rubber goods testing, uniforms, personal protective equipment, tools, the warehouse and the vehicle fleet
  • Enter electronic data to include invoicing receipt and payment
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance efforts for departmental facilities
  • Work with the other departments to standardize supply chain operating policies, procedures and procurement supply
  • Resolve customer complaints and answer customers' questions regarding department management policies and procedures
  • Supervise the work of office, administrative or customer service employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems
  • Provide employees with guidance in handling difficult or complex problems and in resolving escalated complaints or disputes
  • Implement corporate and departmental policies, procedures and service standards in conjunction with management; develop policies, procedures, and services standards in conjunction with management when appropriate
  • Discuss job performance problems with employees to identify causes and issues and work to resolve problems
  • Teach and instruct employees in job duties and company policies or arrange for training to be provided

  • Evaluate employees' job performance and conformance to regulations and recommend appropriate personnel action
  • Recruit, instruct and supervise subordinates
  • Interpret and communicate work procedures and company policies to staff
  • Develop and review operating procedures
  • Develop and manage department budget
  • Establish work priorities and activities
  • Recommend promotions, transfers, hires and other disciplinary action
  • Establish metrics and prepare monthly reports
  • Coordinate activities with other departments
  • Stay abreast of advances in technology
  • Operate PEC vehicle(s) for business purposes in accordance with applicable Federal, State, local law and PEC policies and procedures
  • Maintain driver eligibility through appropriate valid Texas Driver’s License and driving record in accordance with PEC policy
  • Maintain the security of confidential information

Minimum Qualifications - (Education, Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of related experience OR
  • High School Diploma and five years of directly related work experience in the utility industry preferred
  • Directly related experience may substitute for education
  • Five years of leadership experience
  • Forklift certification
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Report that comply with PEC policy
