$105,392.00 Minimum Starting Base Pay* + KPI Bonuses + Competitive Benefits

*Qualifications may warrant greater starting base pay within the full pay range.  Individual base pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for operating the Cooperative's internal data communication communications systems.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, designs and implements local and wide-area network solutions between multiple platforms and protocols, using standard project planning methodologies.
  • Identify and improve the reliability, security and effectiveness of IT network and wireless services
  • Identify, evaluate, manage, and execute projects which will improve data and telecom systems in support of the business
  • Lead all aspects of the design, engineering, and implementation of enterprise telecommunications infrastructure with a focus on stability, automation, and innovation.
  • Ensure data and telecom services are secure, reliable, and performing as needed.
  • Coordinate response to and resolution of Telecom related incidents and performance issues.
  • Ensure assigned projects are completed on time and within the approved budget.
  • Conduct telecommunications needs assessment
  • Recommend changes to the existing telecommunications infrastructure
  • Develop and review operating procedures
  • Review monthly telecom expenses and submit for payment.
  • Assist with interfacing Telco Carriers with telecommunications circuits, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage all procedures related to the identification, prioritization, of Network & Telecom problem tickets, including the monitoring, tracking, and coordination of resolutions.

  • Knowledge of using computer systems, which may include setting up and using hardware and software programs, entering data or processing information

  • Skilled in prioritizing and managing changing priorities
  • Skilled in anticipating, identifying, analyzing, and resolving conflict and problems
  • Skilled in presentation and facilitation techniques
  • Skilled in Calabrio Workforce Optimization
  • Skilled in Apple and Android mobile device technology
  • Skilled in Cisco Unified Communications
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to listen and understand information verbally and in writing

 

Minimum Qualifications - (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensing)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Directly related experience may substitute for education
  • Seven years of experience in telecommunications
